On the list of Sanctuary characters on Wikipedia, attached to Kate Freelander's character description is this:

In an alternate future, she and Will had a son named Magnus Zimmerman, though being in the probable future, their relationship never took place. However she expresses by far the most concern for Will during his disappearance suggesting she has feelings for him.

It made me giggle.
