A promptathon for our favorite intern! ~~Because why the heck not!~~ I love Darcy Lewis, and if you're here, I hope you love Darcy Lewis, so what better way to celebrate Darcy-love by having an impromptu promptathon? Whatever your Darcy ships (or if gosh darnit, you just want a gen fic), if you want to read/write/draw/prompt Darcy-centric stuff, this promptathon is for you!

She would really like to know how they ended up on the run yet again.

Chess could be the actual game or it could be life choices as they maneuver around each other. Take your pick!

Really, were they the only two people in the entire building who knew how to do paperwork correctly?

So Jane was the brilliant scientist...big deal. Darcy was totally the overprotective, taser-wielding little sister.

Darcy's not sure if Natasha thinks of her as a sister or a pet, but at least she's definitely under the protection of Black Widow. These thugs are never going to know what hit them.

They really hate when the fights are close enough to be televised.

SHIELD sets out to acquire some new assets - a con-artist pair who've been making waves around the world...and no one has caught them yet.

How exactly did she end up the comfort-zone/sounding-board for the most dangerous agents of SHIELD (Bucky, Clint, Natasha, & Phil)

This is a fic idea I've been kicking around for ages but can never settle down to write.

I have this feeling that, if Loki were to join the Avengers, he'd never let on when he was hurt. They'd go out, beat up the Big Bad of the Week, then head back to Stark Tower, and Loki would never seek out any kind of medical attention, relying on his godly healing powers to take care of him. The rest of the Avengers -- even Thor -- would start to think of Loki as being almost invulnerable as a result.

So I have this head canon thing of Darcy -- who is totally sleeping with Loki on the down low -- setting up a hidden camera in his room so that she can film them one night after he comes back from a battle and she makes him accept her help as she tends to his various wounds. This of course leads to sexy times, because Darcy/Loki. ^_^

Then Darcy would totally leave the tape on Tony's desk for him and the other Avengers to watch so that they could see that Loki's just as vulnerable as the rest of them. And when it gets to the sexy times poor Steve would pass out and have to be carried to the medbay by Thor, who wouldn't want to see his little brother having sex with his own girlfriend's best friend anyway.

My head, it is a strange place full of Tasertrickery. ^_^

Darcy is happy, she's content, she's finally gotten the adorably oblivious Steve to notice her, and after nearly a year of dating, gotten him into bed (for more than just sleeping *wink wink*)

Now, three months later and Darcy has just finished moving into his apartment in Brooklyn (over an old fashioned boxing gym that Steve bought with 67 years of back Army pay, and it says COLONEL Rogers on his ID Card, thank you very much.) When a technological devise is lobbed through an open window and all Darcy sees is a flash of light and wakes up in Avengers' Tower medical.

She has been de-aged physically to her body of 14 years old?! She has all of her memories and life experience, just not the body. Someone was trying to de-age Cap to before he had been given the Super Soldier serum, but didn't count on Darcy was moving in. And there is absolutely no safe way to re-age her, she just has to age it out the normal chronological way. At least she gets an extra ten years of youth, right? Why does this always happen to her?

But she'll be damned if she is going to wait four years to continue her relationship with Steve. She isn't waiting any longer than it takes to get out of Bruce's lab and back to her bunny slippers in Steve's bedroom. Steve'll just get the chance to punch her V-card, which is only fair: she punched his. Hilarity and angst ensues...

Thinking the Avengers and co. take her for granted, Darcy decides to go on strike. Every snorts and thinks that it's ridiculous, and that Darcy will break before they do--until they realize that their days run far less smoothly and realize just how much Darcy did for them.

Reed Richards actually had fun at a party once, and the result was Darcy. Now, twenty something years later, Darcy is fending off her hot, but douchey sort-of uncle, Johnny Storm. Having a secret relationship with his older, hotter doppelganger, and working for Tony Stark/The Avengers. It's a balancing act.

The Avengers and friends, are the crew of The Avenger of the Sea. A top of the line cruise ship, catering to the rich and famous(lots of opportunity for cameos). Just like on the show hilarity and romance ensue when the crew and passengers get a little love crazy.

Oh my god now I have the Love Boat theme song stuck in my head. Thanks for that.

Darcy's on the run and hiding from the Division. It's why she took an internship in the middle of nowhere, and the reason she carries a taser.
I don't have a plot worked out, but think it'd be awesome to see some Cassie, Nick and Darcy interaction.

Plus, I've seen Darcy hooked up with a few Chris Evans characters, and think Nick needs a little love; their personalities seem like they would vibe well together.

I want Steve's internal agony as he goes to pull her off life support (as per Darcy's own wishes previously communicated to Steve or in a living will). Basically, I want you to make me ugly cry.

While I appreciate you prompting, this prompt is for a WIP and author specific, and not quite in spirit of the promptathon. As such, I am deleting it. However, if you have any other prompts that don't involve asking an author to finish a WIP, I encourage you to share them!

Steve is a candidate for something (mayor? governor? senator? president?), and Darcy is his speechwriter. They spend a lot of time together so that she can tailor the words she writes so that they fit him better, and (of course) the relationship deepens. Bonus if you can squeeze in the other Avengers as other staffers.

The one where Darcy applies to grad schools on the west coast because she doesn't really like science and if she doesn't leave now, she never will.

She didn't really sign up to be involved with a bunch of superheroes, and now that she's here, she's not sure this is what she wants.
